Dr. Ashkan Tajeddini

Dr. Ashkan Tajeddini

Dr. Ashkan(Ash-con) graduated from dental school at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine in Pomona, CA. During that time, he received the International College of Dentists Humanitarian Award as well as the Hispanic Dental Association Foundation Colgate Scholarship. As a dental student, he oversaw a monthly homeless dinner at a local church, providing oral hygiene products for the needy. He also served as the Hispanic Student Dental Association local outreach chair, screening community members to assess their oral health. He graduated among the top 10 students in his class, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Following dental school, Dr. Ashkan continued his dental education and experience in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at East Carolina University, School of Dental Medicine in Greenville, NC. This residency provided him experience in the most current practices in implant placement and restoration, training in various surgical procedures important in dentistry, including extraction of wisdom teeth, and also training in the latest techniques in performing root canals (endodontics). Dr. Ashkan is also Invisalign certified and he looks forward to offering “clear aligner” orthodontics (or braces without attached wires) to interested patients.

Dr. Ashkan does not view dentistry as just a career but also as his passion and hobby. He is also fascinated by the innovations in technology and the automotive industry. He has volunteered many hours as both a dental support team member and as a dental provider before, during, and after dental school with various organizations such as NC Missions of Mercy and the Davidson Medical Ministries Clinic.

Since completing his residency, Dr. Ashkan has practiced as an associate dentist in the Triad area but has always dreamed of settling down in the Cary area.

On a personal level, he and his wife Perla have a daughter Mia who is 2.5 years old, and recently welcomed a new addition to their family, their son Reza who just turned six months. They also have a fur baby who is a Toy Poodle named Tootsie. As a family, they enjoy the outdoors, reading books, playing games, and spending time at the lake.
